can't commit a missing status file [message #527389] Thu, 15 April 2010 02:58 Go to next message

I use Subversive on eclipse 3.5 for a long time. But recently I found that every time I commit the missing status file,it didn't work.

For example,I deleted the file "main.c" in local, and then I commit, but the file "main.c" still in server.

But I used TortoiseSVN to commit,it works well.

How to set Suversive that I want it committing missing status file?

Hello,

As I correctly understand you deleted file locally, then called commit
action on one of its parent and got that file wasn't deleted from SVN
repository, do I?
When you call Comit action do you see deleted file "main.c" in commit dialog
and it's checked?
What Subversive version do you use?

Hello Igor Burilo,

You understand correctly.I used latest version install from weekly site
http://download.eclipse.org/technology/subversive/0.7/weekly -site/

First I did check file "main.c" in commit dialog.

I did some testing again,as following:
1.delete file from Windows, the commit dialog show content as "missing"
2.delete file from eclipse project explorer, the commit dialog show content as "deleted"
3.right click eclipse project explorer and commit a "deleted" file, successful.
4.right click eclipse project explorer and commit a "missing" file, unsuccessful.
5.right click Synchronize explorer and commit a "deleted" file, successful.
6.right click Synchronize explorer and commit a "missing" file, successful.
