Hello,

is there any change in the behaviour of handling the "-" sign in Xpand v1.0.0?

Example:
«FILE "file.txt" SRC_GEN-»
This text starts without leading whitespaces
«ENDFILE»

Expected result:
This text starts without leading whitespaces

Received result:
This text starts without leading whitespaces

The behaviour I'm familiar with is described here:
http://www.openarchitectureware.org/pub/documentation/4.3.1/ html/contents/core_reference.html#xpand_reference_controllin g_generation_of_white_space

Kind Regards
Ludwig

Hi Ludwig!

The "-" operator only suppresses the following newline, not whitespace followed after that. So if you indent your text in the next line it will be printed as-is. This behavior was this way always and did not change. Did you have any postprocessors before?

Kind regards,
~Karsten
