We are looking for an API to get the working copy of Compilation Unit which is not backed up by a physical resource. We need the Compilation Unit for which the content of buffer will be set but will not have any physical file associated. Currently we get the "File Not Found" exception for this. We require this functionality in SSE for JSP Translation.

As I have not received any reply, should I assume that we don't have such alternate API and I should raise a feature request for this?

I provided a patch to the opened bug report.
