How to debug jspx files? [message #523922] Mon, 29 March 2010 16:25 Go to next message

Hi,

How can I debug jspx files in Eclipse?

I would be happy if I can even print out debug statements to the console at run time?

Please help.

Thanks.

Hi Mimi,

Are you able to set breakpoints in regular JSPs (one's that don't end with the extension .jspx)? It looks like there might be a bug where .jspx JSPs are not having their breakpoints set properly.

Hi Nick,

I was not able to set breakpoints in jsp or jspx. Eclipse wouldn't allow me. I could set breakpoints in java files.

Can you tell me how to put print-out debug statements in my jspx files to show up on my console at run-time?

Many Thanks

Hi Nick,

I can set breakpoint in jsp files now but not jspx. I can live with it.

Thank you very much for the info. It's very helpful.
