Hi,

I'm new to Eclipse. I just installed and ran my first "Hello World"
Java-program, which went well. However, I notice Eclipse is using the
JDK 1.4.0 from Borland JBuilder8 Personal Edition. I also have JRE2
installed from SUN. Is this a JDK? If not, should I download JDK from
SUN to avoid using Borland's JDK?

Thanks

Huub

You should download JDK 1.4.1 from sun's website. it has many bug fixes.

You can change your default JDK using the "java->installed jre"
preferences page.
