Hmmm... what do you mean exactly? "Eclipse IDE for C/C++" and "Eclipse
IDE for Java" are just two distributions, i.e. two different sets of
Eclise plugins bundled together. If you want to develop Java
applications given your installation of "Eclipse IDE for C/C++", you
just need to install the needed plugins (like JDT, WTP, etc.) using the
Update Manager.

If you just need to develop Java application, you need JDT.
If you have to do Web/JEE development, you need WebTools.

For a full list of Eclipse projects:
http://www.eclipse.org/projects/listofprojects.php

If you're using a Galileo package, you can start using the Galileo
update site to download the needed plugins through the update manager.
The Galileo Update site URL should be included in your current
installation, try to do Help | Install new software... and then choose
Galileo from the "Work with" combo box.

Mauro.
