[solved] How to remove remote branches from history [message #521348] Wed, 17 March 2010 07:15 Go to next message

I've tried to push my local repository, using EGit, to a number of remote sites, without success. Now I have a number of remote sites in Resource History using up space. How can I remove those (The grey ones in the image below)?

edit: I found that this is due to the Git configuration and not Egit. I removed tracking of the remote repository in Git and it disappeared from the history view.

At the moment it is not possible in the EGit UI to delete branches. You need
to install native Git (e.g. msysgit on Windows) to do this.
