Hello,

I am trying to mark points on scrollbars, for example , lines of occurrences of a searched string in a text box, is there a way to accomplish this with standard APIs, ? ... Im new to SWT programming .. so please bare my ignorance ..

it may not be possible.....

what you can do is use something like eclipse java editor has...

At the right end after vertical scroll bar there is a control for marking occurences....

You can also do the same to achive u r requirement.
