Hello,
I am using this version of Eclipse under Ubuntu 9.10 (64 bit):
Version: 3.5.1.R35x_v20090910-9gEeG1_FthkNDSP2odXdThaOu9GFDPn83DGB7
Build id: M20090917-0800
I have a regular Java project that I know has java warnings. I can open one of the classes that has a warning and see the markers along the right side of the scroll bar. However, my "Problems" view/tab does not show these warnings.
Just in case, I went to the Problems menu and selected "Configure Contents". I checked all four Configurations:
All Errors
Warnings on Selection
Errors/Warnings on Selection
Errors/Warnings on Project
Then I selected the "Match any configuration" radio button.
I also spot checked the "Errors/Warnings on Project" configuration, and it shows the following:
- Scope: "On anye lement in same project"
- Text contains is blank.
- Where severity is: I have "Error" and "Warning" checked
- Types: all selected.
I figured the above settings would make the filtering very broad to ensure inclusion of warnings in my project, yet none show up. I used to see these warnings prior to upgrading Eclipse from 3.5.0.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Alex
P.S. I am using this java sdk:
java version "1.6.0_16"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_16-b01)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 14.2-b01, mixed mode)
