Hi,
I want to implement an editor which can edit xmi/xml files, but read the model(s) it should support at runtime, so
dynamically. My idea is to re-use/work from the EMF dynamic editor and create a custom variant which can dynamically
read the models should be supported.
Is this a good idea? Or are there other runtime/dynamic-flexible editor approaches I should check?

Btw, what plugins make up the dynamic EMF editor?

Of course. It basically already works.

It's basically just the EcoreEditor, or a slight variant, e.g.,
EcoreEditor.XML
