I have an update site definition that contains a feature, which contains plugins. - Quite unspectacular. I would like to bundle the source code with the plugins and I do not want to use the PDEbuild command line mechanism.

I can do this for the feature by clicking 'export' and then setting the corresponding option to export the source.

When I build the site by clicking build all, I do not have that option.

QUESTION: Where and how can I include data in the feature definition, so that the site build picks up the source code production command. Or is it impossible?

I believe this must be a fairly common case, as any library that is reused in a plugin can potentially break and then leave the re-user/contributor with no idea what is going on...

Hello Joerr,

Been there, and quite a coincidence that I have just written an article [1]
on it.

You may as well check out my project as a sample. [2]
