Customizing tooltip for Eclipse perspective [message #513442]

Hi,

I tried to change the tooltip of an custom eclipse perspective, but I think it is by default set be eclipse.

Even though I tried to change the 'name' property of perspective in plugin.xml, the changes are not reflected at runtime.

Is there any mechanism to customize the tooltip of a perspective either through plugin.xml, or programmatically?

PLease let me know.

Its not extensible. See PerspectiveBarContributionItem class.
