I'm trying to find this example. However so far I was unsuccessful. Where
can I find this?

It's a part of normal GMF distribution and you can download it from CVS:
:pserver:anonymous@dev.eclipse.org:/cvsroot/modeling co
org.eclipse.gmf/examples/org.eclipse.gmf.ecore.editor
