Is it possible to build RWT applications that enable Java debugging/building via the JDT extension? I cannot find any examples or API's that would enable that.

Thank you,
I reopened the ticket and commented that the e4 project is possibly doing something similar. Additionally, there is an open-source project by Google (http://code.google.com/p/nativeclient/) that is working on running native code inside the browser.

Still not possible to run JDT on RAP? There are valid use cases for it, e.g. IDE/execution engine for DSL extensions to Java. Thanks!

Hello.

Sure it's a valid use case, but the answer basically hasn't changed.
Event if it were possible, it would require an *immense* amount of
development time just to implement StyledText in RAP, and right now
there isn't nearly enough demand or available resources to consider
doing so.

Greetings,
Tim
