Hi,

i stumbled over this project: http://wiki.eclipse.org/RAP_Theme_Editor
This sounds really good! But how do i install this to use it in Eclipse?
So far i checked out the project from the SVN repository and copied the
project directory in the ../Eclipse/plugins directory. This does not
work. When i want to open a .css file with the RAP Theme Editor, there
is only a ClassNoFoundException thrown (ThemeEditor class).
Moreover, the plug-in does not appear in the
Help->About Eclipse->Installation details view.
Any hints?

Greetings,
Ben

Hi Ben,

once you have the ThemeEditor project in your workspace, export it as
"Deployable plug-ins and fragments". Copy the exported jar in the
.../Eclipse/plugins directory and restart Eclipse with your RAP
apllication workspace.

Ivan

Hi Ivan,

it works, thx! I had to switch the target platform to the default eclipse running platform for the export.
Now i tried to create a theme with the editor by creating a test.css file and opened it with the RAP Theme Editor.
The Widget and Rules views are empty. I opened an existing theme and the Rules view gets populated, the Widget view
is emtpy again. Is there a documention available on how to use this RAP Theme Editor? It seems like a very
useful tool which i'd love to use.
Thx for your help!

Greetings,
Ben

Hi Ben,

the code in sourceforge SVN repository is old (from 2008) and the
form-based editor is no longer working with current CVS RAP theme. Ralf
have just committed the CSS (text) based theme editor in RAP incubator
folder [1].
