Hi all,
I have developed a sketch API for my GMF editor (MoLIC) called OmniModeling, to freely draw onto my editor with a tablet.
here is a video showing it working: http://vimeo.com/2392258
The idea is to be able to sketch any element in my model, training the recognizer as i sketch things.
Like this: http://vimeo.com/2252782
on this video i've used another model (squares and triangles), so i'm thinking about making it as extensible as possible.
Is anybody else in the community interested on something like that?
I've working hard with SWT, GEF and GMF to build this, but I need to integrate it better with GMF.
I'm thinking about applying for the Google Summer of Code, it could be a start..
Comments are welcome :)
Thanks
Ugo

Hi Ugo,
this is really a great work, Ugo. This will improve the process of
capturing models, whatever their purpose. I have also worked hard to use
GMF as a multi-views modeler. I had to combine GMF with CNF and CDO. I
have modified default templates and added extension points to automate
the process. Of course, lot of improvements have to be done and I think
this kind of approach should be one of the future direction of GMF. See

Cheers.

Hi Ugo,
Great work !
Sure this is a really good start to apply for a google summer of code, under the GMF project umbrella :)

Mariot
