BIRT fatjars and eclipse PDE? [message #506774] Sat, 09 January 2010 20:42 Go to next message

I have created a BIRT application using some of the birt library files. I
have the packaged the application using maven and specified that it should
include all dependencies (fatjar).

Next I have converted this fatjar into a PDE which I include in a main PDE
project.

When I run the main PDE project it only works if I specify some of the birt
libraries in the wrapped PDE (fatjar wrapped into a PDE) even though these
libraries are already included in fatjar.

Any ideas why I need to add these dependencies in the PDE dependency manager
even though they are already wrapped into the fatjar?

Have you registered the extensions and extension points from the original
plugins in you new plugin?
