Specify diagram code generation target source folder [message #506550] Thu, 07 January 2010 18:16 Go to next message

Hi all,

I have been unable to figure out how to specify the 'Diagram Directory' for
my generated diagram code. Whenever I right-click on my .gmfgen file and
tell it to generate the code, it attempts to use the source folder 'src'
inside my target project. My diagram project already has existing source at
'src/main/java' and so I need the generated diagram source to be placed in
this same location. As you can imagine this causes the following exception:

Unexpected state came across, have no idea how to deal with that:
Cannot nest 'myproject.diagram/src/main/java' inside
'myproject.diagram/src'. To enable the nesting exclude 'main/' from
''myproject.diagram/src'.

When generating the model, edit, and editor code, there are properties on
the genmodel to control the source output ('Editor Directory', 'Edit
Directory' and 'Model Directory). I cannot locate a similar property for the
diagram directory. How can I configure the diagram directory?

Thanks,
Joe
