CodeSourcery is an exciting, fun, and interesting place to work. If you want to be part of a growing, highly technical company and this position interests you, please send your resume to jobs@codesourcery.com.
CodeSourcery is seeking an experienced software engineer to maintain and enhance its Eclipse-based IDE. In this capacity, you will design and implement new features in the IDE to improve the experience for embedded C & C++ developers by working on Eclipse, CDT, and CodeSourcery's Eclipse plug-ins. You will monitor user feedback and suggest, design, and implement improvements that will make Sourcery G++ even more powerful and easier to use.
Applicants must have Eclipse development experience. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of the C and C++ programming languages and has had experience with embedded development on bare-metal, RTOS, or Linux systems. Knowledge of 32-bit RISC architectures, such as ARM or ColdFire, and familiarity with the use of memory-mapped peripherals is an advantage. A successful record of contributing to Eclipse, CDT, or other open-source projects is also a significant advantage.
This is a full-time position. If accepted for this position, you will be part of the Sourcery G++ development team, helping to build professional tools for embedded C and C++ development, based around GCC, Eclipse, and other open-source tools. Like all Sourcerers, you will have the luxury of working from your own home.
If you are interested in this position, please submit your resume to jobs@codesourcery.com.
