How to open the editor on given element in given diagram ? [message #503886]

Starting from an instance of PapyrusMultiDiagramEditor, I would like to select a given diagram, to select a list of elements in this diagram and to reveal them.

Is there an API for this ? If not, how can I achieve it ?

What puzzles me is that the editor exposes a getDiagram() method although there may be many diagrams.

I'm not sure to understand what you are trying to do.

- do you try to select an existing diagram or do you want to create a
new instance of a specific kind of diagram (let's say create a new class
diagram) ?

- do you want to select UML2 elements existing in the model and make
them appear programmatically in a diagram ? Or are you trying to select
the graphical representation of a set of elements in the diagram and
find the UML2 elements they represent in the model ?
