Hi,
I guess it is a problem with most eclipse projects. They do not support
the bypassing corporate firewall from the begining. Same with web service
explorer. The web service browser can not get the wsdl file as I am behind
a firewall.
Did you guys have the same problem? Is there any way around.
I have same problem with CVS and I could not solve it either.
Any insight will be great...
Thanks,
-Abhijit

Hi Abhijit,

"The web service browser can not get the wsdl file as I am behind
a firewall."
If you're trying tro retreive a local WSDL file (one you've just
developed) this won't be a problem. If you're trying to retrieve one from
the internet you will probably be using HTTP. Do you not have HTTP access
to the internet?

"I have same problem with CVS and I could not solve it either."
Do you mean you can't access the Eclipse cvs repository?

The restrictions from your firewall seem very strict. Do you have a
firewall running locally (such as zonelabs)? If so you will need to grant
net access to Eclipse.

Abhijit,
in case you have not tried it yet, the Internet Preferences page (Window ->
Preferences -> Internet) may be of help. You can use this preference page to
configure the Eclipse JRE to tunnel thru an HTTP proxy firewall.

Cheers - CB.
