Bug in OpaqueExpression [message #502971] Thu, 10 December 2009 13:30 Go to next message

Hi all,

i've certainly found a bug in OpaqueExpression. The spec states, that
the length of the body expression must conform to the length of language
strings. But with the editor it is possible to create several entries
for the body, for which no langauge expression is set.

+body{expr1, expr2}
+language{lang}

May i raise a bugzilla?

Regards mfw

There are many other cases where the editor allows a user to get into a
temporary invalid state.
The validation rules are intended to catch such errors after a model is
created.
Also keep in mind that the editor provided by opensource is just a "sample"
editor.

So although you are free to log any error you wish, I personally don't see
this as a high priority issue.
If you want to provide a patch that fixes the issue, I'll make sure it gets
committed.

Regards,
- James.
