Prevent EMF "Generate model code" from screwing up classpath [message #501929] Fri, 04 December 2009 09:04 Go to next message

Hey all,

EMF is a great technology but one minor thing is really annoying me. Everytime I run the "Generate model code" from within an EMF genmodel, EMF removes an "**/.svn/" exclusion for those .svn Subversion folders from the project's classpath. As a result, the "bin" directory in my project always shows modified.

Nothing major but again, totally annoys. I am using Eugenia so from a few files I can regenerate my whole GMF editor, which I do frequently (iterative development).

Does anybody know a way how to tell EMF to leave the exclusion settings in the classpath alone? I am using the fairly latest version of the Eclipse Modeling distribution (1 month old).

Thanks a lot, Christoph

You can set the GenModel's Update Classpath property to false.
