Installed atf 0.3.0 using directions at
http://wiki.eclipse.org/ATF/Installing Installed over 'Eclipse Java EE
IDE for Web Developers.
Build id: 20090920-1017' on linux (fc11) over gtk2-2.16.5-1.fc11.i586.
The installation appeared to have gone smoothly, eclipse restarted.

Then ... nothing. Can't launch as in
http://wiki.eclipse.org/ATF/Help/Tasks/Launch/Launch There's no 'Web
Browser Perspective' as described
in http://wiki.eclipse.org/ATF/Installing

Can this run on linux? Pl. advise. Thanks.

hi Mike,
thanks for trying ATF. If you go to Help-> About Eclipse SDK and then
press "Installation Details", do you see ATF on the list of installed
software?

Yes, I've pasted the relevant stuff:

AJAX Tools Framework Mozilla IDE (Incubation)

org.eclipse.atf.mozilla.ide.feature.feature.group

These aren't the only additional plugins, however. But I don't see any
messages in the eclipse error log about clashes.

Above seems to be fine for me.
If you have any .js files in your workspace, are you able to do "Debug
As -> Debug in Mozilla"?
Or if you go to "Window -> Show View -> Other..." in main menu, do you
see group "Mozilla" in Show View dialog?
And last thing to check, please open the Plug-in Registry view
(Window->Show View->Other, and find there Plug-in Registry). You should
see a new view being opened. There find the
"org.eclipse.atf.mozilla.ide.ui" - this is the plug-in that contributes
such things as Web Browser Tools perspective and other ATF user
interface things. From the context menu choose "Show advanced
operations" and then again from context menu choose "Diagnose". Are
there any problems? If not, can you also click "Start" then?

Hi,

I've exactly the same problem as Mike described it in this thread.
I checked all the views Jacek suggested, but I don't have te "debug as Mozilla" option, I don't have the "Web Browser Tools" perspective, I don't have the group "Mozilla" in the show view dialog and I also don't have the "org.eclipse.atf.mozilla.ide.ui" in the plugin registry.
But eclipse is telling me ATF, Mozilla XPCOM and Xulrunner and WTP are installed correctly and completely.

I'm working on Win7, Eclipse 3.5 SR1.

I tested on an Ubuntu machine, there everything works as expected.

What can I do to use ATF on my Win7 PC?

Thanks in advance.
