GMF - How to create domain model and diagram in one file instead of two? [message #499562] Mon, 23 November 2009 06:21 Go to next message

Hello,

I just finsihed the GMF first tutorial and completed the mindmap example. For our needs, we need domain model and diagram in one file. Is there any option in GMF to do that? Any pointers or direction will be helpful. Please let me know if the question is not clear, can add more details. Thanks.

Hi SC,

If you open gmfgen editor and select 'Gen Editor Generator' node and set the attribute 'Same File For Diagram And Model' to true. Also set Diagram and domain file extensions to the same string. E.g. "gmfdiagram".

Hello SC,

See "Same File For Diagram And Model" option of GenEditorGenerator in .gmfgen
model.
