The = operator is described here:

As it is available for any type (Strings included).
Anyway, the problem you have is due to an incorrect implementation of
the includesAll() method. Could you report a bug about that (
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/enter_bug.cgi?product=M2M ), e.g.
"includesAll() does not work in EMFVM" ?
