Hi all,
This is my first message in eclipse forums. After months of trying to register in here, I finally succeded(I failed earlier because I was sitting beside a corporate firewall, and I thought it was a problem with Eclipse forum).

Anyway I was wondering, if there is a way that I could have all functionalities of a TextEditor(with XML parsing) in a View. I see that TextEditor(as the name implies) is inexorably tied with editors, I think there is a level of abstraction missing.

Can someone guide me how could i achieve this. Thanks

Also if I am posting in the wqrong group , please do tell me which group this topic applies to.

I think there isnt much participation in these forums. I cant see much(if any) changes in any questions posted since day before yesterday.
