Can any body tell me how to install BIRT Report designer framework in eclipse 3.1 along with it's all dependency. I want Birt report designer as a perspective in eclipse.

Update manager is showing 2.1 and 2.2 only while using birt update site: http://download.eclipse.org/birt/update-site

The versions I want are very specific: Birt 2.0;

My problem is solved. The solution may be useful for some body else...

SWT base plugins need a couple of environment variables to be set MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME and LD_LIBRARY_PATH

and needs specific version of stdC++ library (in my case version 5)
and gtk-dev library.
