Can you provide an example,
obviously this is not something easily reproducible.

Hi, Roy Ganor

this pic show that Eclipse+PDT didn't automatically highlights errors after i save this php file.

i check out the help manual from zend.com http://files.zend.com/help/PDT/real_time_error_detection.htm

and found that Eclipse+PDT is supposed to have the "Real Time Error Detection" function.

and when i use PHPEclipse plugin, it will highlight the errors of the php file after you save it.

You need to tell us what version of eclipse and PDT you use and a code
snip so we have a point of reference.

You forgot the code snippet.
But try and right-click your php file in the project explorer and open
it as a php file. Check that you have set the perspective to php.
