hi, all
In the metaABM editor, one can create a Target, such as Query, is there a detailed documentation on how to use the functions of Query?
Since there are many functions I am not sure how to use them, say, "Spatial" functions, and so on. I have to try them one by one. It is not only time consuming, but some of the queries I still don't know what is it and how to use it.
Best Regards
Winston

A few things here..
First we do recognize that the editor is far from perfect in terms of
usability. Functions are an especially glaring example. Another big
issue is that it is very hard for many users to grok that thereis
actually a graph structure underneath the tree hierarchy. This is all
because we've made use of the default ecore editor design -- and the
properties editor doesn't provide an easy way to break all of the
functions into a seperate list. Plus, we've had to take out the
descriptions form javadoc for IP reasons -- hopefully that will be
resolvable. I've been playing around with a number of different
approaches to cutom metaabm / acore editors and I hope to have
something up about that soon.
But there are a lot we of things we can do to improve the hierarchical
editor. For one thing, I thought about having a menu item for a query
that allows you to pick the funciton from a hierarchical list. If you
think this is a good diea or have another one, please open a bugzilla.
Regarding Meta-Model documentation, there is now! I haven't gotten
quite to the funciton part yet, but I'm going to try to get there
tonight..

At this point in the project triage I'm putting stuff up as people
become frustrated and complain, so complain away.. And please folks,
the Wiki docs are the best wway you can contribute right now..
cheers,
Miles

I realized that I'd like to include some documentaiton on math
functions but I have to check on IP issue before posting that.
