CDO - my experience [message #490010] |

Hi,
about 6 weeks ago i started working on CDO.
We are writing redview (riena emf dynamic views). A project which renders dynamic views for business applications from an emf model. Modelchanges are directly reflected to the ui, after changes are made in the designer WYSIWYG editor.
I am very excited about CDO. It is a really great project to dispatch modelChangeEvents and store them in a repository.
CDO is the most important eye catcher of redview, because it allows designing the ui while persons are working in their rcp clients. And the changes of the designer directly update the rcp ui in an productive environment.
Additionally the source style and architecture of CDO are very good and comfortable to read.
CDO is a project i really like!
Yesterday i made a little film which demonstrates, how CDO can be used for view behaviours.

Hi Flo,
Thanks for the nice words. Creating excitement is the best we can hope
for ;-)
I'm looking forward to seeing redView in action during ESE...
Cheers
