Setting Ant to "Run the the same JRE as the workspace" as the default [message #489363] Fri, 02 October 2009 11:26 Go to next message

We have a few dozen workspaces with dozens of projects all deployed from ant scripts. I would like to add a task to automatically update from source control and refresh & build the eclipse project. In order to get this to work, I have to set Ant to "Run the the same JRE as the workspace".

However, my impression is that I will need to set this for every existing launch configuration for every developer and for every time we create a new workspace or a new build configuration. Is there any way I can at least set the default to "Run the the same JRE as the workspace"? Then we can delete Ant Launch configurations, which will automatically get recreated properly the next time a developer launches Ant.

Any ideas?

Thanks.
