Lars,

It's best to ask about Xpand on the M2T newsgroup which I've added to
the "to" list of the reply.

Lars,
there should be following wizards available if you installed it correct:

Xpand -> Xpand templates
Xpand -> Xpand projects
Xtend -> CheckFile
Xtend -> Xtend File

also at project --> Configure -> add Xpand/Xtend nature

Do you have Xpand SDK installed ?

you can also take a look at my blogs about migrating
from 0AW4.3.1 to Xpand/Xtend/MWE

Hi Ekkehard,

I have checked multiple time what I could have done wrong - maybe you can help me.

1. I downloaded the Eclipse Modeling Project distribution from eclipse.org.
2. I unpacked the zip file and started the Eclipse.exe file

I have a JDK 1.6 u 16 32 bit on my windows vista 64 bit. There is an XPand Editor, Examples, SDK and UI Feature listed under Installation Details.

What I see is:

Xpand -> Xpand templates
Xtend -> CheckFile
Xtend -> Xtend File
at project --> Configure -> add Xpand/Xtend nature

What I don't see is:

Xpand -> Xpand projects

Do you have any ideas why?

regards

Lars

hu, that's it.

I know what the problem was: not to use the update sites.

After re-installation of a "pure" eclipse together with lots of updates from the update sites of the modelling projects subprojects I have what I want and can create xpand projects.

possibly the version of the xpand sdk which is part of the complete package is too old and has bugs - it's 0.7.0.

Now I have 0,7.2. as it should be.

I can confirm this. You have to make an Update after downloading the Eclipse Modeling Package. It seems that the Version 0.7.0 doesn´t show the

Xpand -> Xpand projects.
