Mansour,
You've got meaning correct, what you're seeing is a problem with the
refresh of that marker. This bug has been addressed Mylyn 3.0 (to be
released on June 25th along with Ganymede). We no longer use the gutter
annotations for landmarks because they seemed to cause more confusion
than they provided value. Instead you can just rely on the bolding of
landmarks in the navigator views or in the Quick Context View if your
editor is maximized. For the time being you can close and reopen the
editor.
