we provide ports of IBM's j9 vm for various embedded platforms. I am
charged with providing an (Eclipse-based) GUI support for developing/running
Java apps on those platforms. Primary motivation is to provide a way for
users to create J2ME project and run/debug it on the actual embedded device
(not an emulator).

I am the representative for Sybase for this tooling project. Sybase is
leading the DTP project, co-lead in STP and is also signing up to
contribute to the JavaServerFaces Tooling Project as code and resources.
We are very interested in contributing resources in the GUI portion for
mobile application. We are considering contribution of our generic
deployment framework used in SOA if it is deemed applicable for this
project. We will have a committer experienced with Eclipse and worked in
other projects to join this effort.

Wirelexsoft focus on visual driven development, our tools allows software
development to be transformed from a text-based format to graphical-based
manipulations of SW entity representations.
We have interest in the following area of the proposal since it is our focus
1- Application creation wizard
2- UI design tools
3- Localization
we have built an extensive editors that supports all the above functionality
and we are improving as we go.
The other area of the proposal we would like to use instead of us recreating
them. current we use eclipseme to provide such functionality.
we could help in this area.

Motivation is to allow EclipseME and MTJ to work together to the benefit
of all users. Assuming that some day EclipseME is merged with or sits
on top of MTJ, I would be interested in committing code directly. For
the time being, I'm willing to route code of interest from EclipseME
over to MTJ via other committers.

J2SE/J2EE developer who is very interested in code development and
testing, with particular emphasis on Maven/Ant/JUnit test code writing,
developing test client code environments, etc.
I do NOT have any mobile device programming experience other
application-level stuff like game development using
Eclipse/EclipseME/WirelessToolKit22/etc.
