Hi,

I write a Flash Custom widget ( I used org.eclipse.rap.e4.integration.st
example for this). It works fine with Firefox but in IE8 the Flash movie
is not dispayed.
It is the same problem for the example that I used
(org.eclipse.rap.e4.integration.st). It's not a Flash blugin problem. I
can run Flash movies within IE8.

Hi Samir,

This is a known problem, related to certain compatibility issues between
Qooxdoo qx.ui.embed.Flash and Flash ExternalInterface under IE. You might
find more details in this thread:

Unfortunately, the code, you are referring to, is not supported (it was
only a proof of concept) and fixing it is not a high-priority action item
for us.

Hi Eduard,

the example mentioned above is not available for the public use. But
please try to search the newsgroup, there are plenty of examples how to
integrate flash into RAP applications.

By newsgroups you mean these forums? Goggles result fpr "eclipse" + "newsgroup" is the link www.eclipse.org/newsgroups/. And that link redirekts me to these forums.

Hi,

yes, the forums are just a web-frontent for the newsgroups. You can
either use the forum or connect with a news reader to the newsgroups via
nntp.
