I have written an example container as plug-in, it's not quite finished
yet or documented but it does show the basics. Browse my CVS repository at
Sourceforge using:

http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/blueskytime

and have a look at the com.blueskytime.eclipse.libfolder project.
