Hello all,
I'm still new to UML2tools, and I just managed to create a state machine
diagram. I found out that in order to add a trigger I have to edit the
uml file, since this feature is not offered in the diagram.
Now how can I connect an event with the trigger? The trigger instance
has a selection "Event" which does not offer any selections. Do I have
to create the event in another diagram like an activity diagram and
somehow import it?
Thanks,
Michael

Michael,
well, i'm not familiar with the UML2Tools but in common, you had to
define an event in your model (if this is not possible within the state
machine diagram, you cann allways create the elements you need within
the ordinary UML tree editor) and connect this with the trigger's event
association.
An Event is a PackageableElement, so your are free to put the event into
any package, you want.
Cheers
