Restricting the selection of entire row in grid [message #48938]

Hello,

In grid, on entering a value into any cell; corresponding row gets
selected entirely. But it gives the wrong information to the user that,
he/she has entered the value into the entire row, this is highly visible
and confusing on copy and paste of cell values!

How could i restirct it?
