500 row limit on Edit Table? [message #480946] Wed, 19 August 2009 06:19 Go to next message

Just using DTP on a mySQL database.

If I right click on a table, and select 'Edit', I get ~500 rows returned
to me, and no more.

I realise a limit is in place for performance, but is there any way for me
to get the next 500? or maybe filter the Edit screen, so I can browse to
the one that I want?

I looked for buttons, but couldn't find anything that might be a 'Next'.

Thanks in advance,

Mark

Hi Mark,
You can go to Preference "Data Management -> SQL Development -> SQL Results View Options" and change the "Max row count" to your desired value. The Max row count decides the row count of table data editor.

But there is a bug to change the max row count:
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=287059

You can try it after this bug fixed.
