The 1.4 version online install site is empty

Me too.
So,
when I try to access the update site by Firefox， the response is



Build Artifacts :: /tools/ve/updates/1.4/

Claims of VE's revival are much exaggerated.

Current issues:
http://download.eclipse.org/tools/ve/updates/1.4/
Doesn't work.

http://www.eclipse.org/vep/downloads/
Has no obvious way to download build 1.4.0

http://download.eclipse.org/tools/ve/downloads/drops/1.4.0/
Points to a link which goes to nowhere

As the kids say nowadays: Eclipse Visual Editor Project = EPIC FAIL
