Hi,

We have an analysis system that reads UML sequence diagrams and applies
pattern matching techniques to it. I have used Visual Trace (found in
Rational XDE) to generate sequence diagrams from program execution, but
XDE has it's limitations (it is based on eclipse 2.0).

So, I wonder if it is possible to convert UML2 Object/Class Interactions
generated from Execution Time Analysis to reqular UML2 model files
(.uml2) with collaborations and interactions following the UML 2.0
metamodel?

Of course I can convert generated XML-based trace file, but I already
have a sequence diagram "image" on the screen - only corresponding UML
model is missing.

I have also used IBM Rational Software Architect in order to get traces.
Again, the funny thing is, that I cannot convert generated UML2 Object
Interactions to UML2 models even if both of them are located in the same
project - side by side. Or can I?
