Project set for WTP work [message #48222] Sun, 10 October 2004 18:30 Go to next message

Thanks to Panagiotis Korros who contributed a project set for WTP (and for
those of us who'd never heard of this Eclipse feature, some instructions on
how to use it). His contributions are available on the Development page
(http://www.eclipse.org/webtools/development/main.html).

The link for the project set should be
http://download.eclipse.org/webtools/downloads/WebToolsProje ctProjectSet.psf
instead of
http://download.eclipse.org/webtools/downloads/WebToolsProje ctSet.psf.

Thanks,
Paul Morgan

I know that is from CVS, but is it with checkout or export command
checkout download only changed files (another time), and export dowload all
every time, like simple download
For instance, eclipse cvs download work with cvs export and it isn't
different than complete src download

This error was received while attempting to import the project set after
logging in to the CVS repository as anonymous:

The server reported an error while perform the "cvs expand-modules" command.

Under Details>>

: cvs server: cannot find module
'org.eclipse.wtp.wst/components/internet/plugins/org.eclipse .monitor.core' -
ignored

Clicking OK aborts the import. Is this a problem with the project set or a
problem with the CVS repository?

Thanks,
Paul

Try again. The CVS directories were reorganized and the project set file was
incorrect. Panagiotis has recreated the project set file for the new
directory structure and I have uploaded it.

Bjorn (for Panagiotis)

Thanks so much to Panagiotis Korros for providing the project set. It has
saved me a lot of time and introduced me to a new feature of Eclipse I was
not aware of.

How will we know when new projects/plug-ins are added or changes to the
project set are made? Will be notified via this newsgroup?

I tried to download the new project set file from
http://download.eclipse.org/webtools/downloads/WebToolsProje ctProjectSet.psf
and I get a 404 object not found error.
