Hi,

Given a .ecore file, how can it be converted to a .uml file? It's not
necessary to generate diagram layout information, although that would be
desirable too.

Regards,

Miguel

Hi Miguel,

Right click on your corresponding .genmodel. Select "Export Model...".
From the wizard that pops up, select UML model.
Alternatively, you can open your .ecore model. Select a EPackage that you
want to convert, then from the "Sample Ecore Editor" menu, select "Convert
to UML Model ..." .

You will need the org.eclipse.uml2.examples plugins to see those menu
options.

If you are using the latest version of the UML API, be on the lookout for
genercis in your generated UML model.

Regards,

- James.
