Context sensitive help when focus on view tab [message #470939] Thu, 29 November 2007 17:51
Eclipse UserFriend
Hi,

I followed the directions at
http://www.eclipse.org/articles/article.php?file=Article-Add ingHelpToRCP/index.html
to get context sensitive help set up for all my views. Works great.

However, I would also like to show the same help when focus is on the
tab for a view. This can happen when the keyboard is used to give focus
to the tab and the arrow keys are used to switch from one tab to the
next. If the Help view is already displayed, it updates to show the
appropriate context help. However, F1 will not open the view and shows
no help.

What do I need to do to make the F1 key show the right help when focus
is on the tab for a view?

Thanks,
Mike Higginbotham
