Hi all,
I've noticed that the new disassembly editor has made it to CDT 5.0 (RC2),
but I've been unable to figure out how to use it. I was expecting an
action/command in the disassembly view and/or debug view but cannot find
anything and the documentation does not mention the editor.

The code is checked into CVS
(:pserver:anonymous@dev.eclipse.org:/cvsroot/tools)
as part of the plug-ins org.eclipse.cdt.debug and org.eclipse.cdt.debug.ui

Mikhail started to contribute disassembly editor framework in 5.0 but it
is not complete and it's not ready to be extended yet. But, he is
continuing to develop this framework in 5.1.
Separately, DSF is using a disassembly view, which was contributed by
Wind River, and is a temporary solution until the disassembly editor
framework is ready.

I want to integrate a disassembly view along with my custom debugger into
Eclipse CDT and I don't want to use the DSF disassembly view if it's going
to be replaced by the new disassembly editor.
I'm looking for information on the new disassembly editor framework and
all I could find is this proposal:
http://wiki.eclipse.org/Disassembly_window_management
Is there any other documentation on the framework like how to use it? How
is it better than the DSF disassembly view?
Also, is there a schedule for the framework? Is the code available in CVS
somewhere?
