Hi,
I have planned to create a feature for my plug-in(presently our plug-in
needs to be downloaded and need manual installation).
I hope feature will allow us to update the eclipse with our plug-in.
Correct me if I am wrong.
I have got "cycle dependency error" while exporting my plug-in as a
feature. So I have planned to download some plug-in which already have
features. I have tried with CDT. I have downloaded following plug-ins and
tried to create feature for this, but this also not going successful.
1. org.eclipse.cdt.core.solaris
2. org.eclipse.cdt.core.win32
3. org.eclipse.cdt.core
4. org.eclipse.cdt.debug.core
5. org.eclipse.cdt.debug.mi.core
6. org.eclipse.cdt.debug.mi.ui
7. org.eclipse.cdt.debug.ui
8. org.eclipse.cdt.doc.isv
9. org.eclipse.cdt.doc.user
10. org.eclipse.cdt.launch
11. org.eclipse.cdt.make.core
12. org.eclipse.cdt.make.ui
13. org.eclipse.cdt.managedbuilder.core
14. org.eclipse.cdt.managedbuilder.gnu.ui
15. org.eclipse.cdt.managedbuilder.ui
16. org.eclipse.cdt.refactoring
17. org.eclipse.cdt.ui
18. org.eclipse.cdt
19. org.eclipse.cdt-feature
20. org.eclipse.cdt-releng

I have a error log created for this in my machine, but I don't know how to
upload it here.
Any help for converting our plug-ins to features is very useful.

Hi All,

I have resolved the cyclic dependency error using -> 'Automated Management
dependencies' and 'Imported packages' options present in dependency page.
But now I am running into the "jarsigner returned :1" error. By searching
through google I have find out that including source will resolve that
issue, for me also that error didn't came again but export is creating a
building logs files in the place where I am trying to export. I am unable
to interpret that error logs. Any help on this will be really useful. I
don't know how to attach files in the newsgroup. Kindly let me know how to
attach so that I can get some help from the newsgroup members.
