I'd like to see, but then I'd also like to see support for Spring and
Spring Web Flow support. I'm just not sure that they belong in the JSF
project.

Shale is extension of JSF. Spring is not. Spring is definitely a subject for
possible project under Eclipse umbrella, but I think it shouldn't be JSF
project.

I have not used Shale extensively, but from what I have seen it seems like a
useful set of extensions to JSF. Unfortunately, the project is still
relatively new. As far as I can tell, they are still only producing daily
builds. There are no stable mailestone builds and no plans for a release
schedule.

I think we should stay in a holding pattern on Shale and concentrate on the
critical elements of JSF for the first release of JSF in WTP.

Thanks.
George.

Igor, within WTP we only support standards. JST = J2EE Standard Tools.
Shale, Struts, Spring, etc, are out-of-scope for JST. We'd need to
create a new subproject to deal with the non-standard J2EE extensions.
