How can I set color or fond for the perperty entry in the properties view?

I tried to use a LableProvider that implements IColorProvider with my PropertyDesciptor, but it does no work. The getBackGround and getForeGround methods of the IColorProvider is never called.

Any input is appreciated. /dan
