SWT Group with no title -- can I make the background color consistent? [message #466905] Thu, 19 January 2006 03:18

If I create a Group that has no title (I never set the text), the area where
the title would be has a white background. All I am looking for is a group
of widgets with an etched border around them -- and with one color inside
the etched border and another color outside. What I get is a group of
widgets with an etched border around them, with three sides of the border
having one color on each side, but the TOP of the border has an area above
it that has the wrong background color.

To make this concrete, the shell background is grey and the group background
is white. But just above the etched border for the group is also white, not
grey. I want the ENTIRE outside of the etched border to be grey.

This is with WinXP, at least at the moment.

Is there a way I can get the result I want without having to make a custom
widget?

Thanks,

Eddie
